6.5.5 Adjusting the working depth of the extendable side guide plates
The extendable side guide plate ensures that the
tilled soil is not thrown to the side. The working
depth can be adjusted. The soil guiding angle bracket
additionally prevents free-flowing soil from escaping.
1. Take the universal operating tool from the parking
position.
2. Loosen the bolts

NOTE
The adjustment of the working depth must be
adapted to the respective operating conditions.
The optimum adjustment can only be determined
during field operation.
3.
To release the side guide plate from the grid,
push the side guide plate towards the front.
4. Move the side guide plate to the desired position.
5. Push the side guide plate into the grid.
6. Tighten the bolts.
7. Make the same setting for the opposite side of the
implement.
8. After 5 hours of operation, check the bolt
connection for tight fit.
The soil guiding angle brackets may not work too
deep. The soil guiding angle brackets may only level
the soil ridge between the side guide plate and the
trailing roller.
9. Loosen the bolts.
10. Move the soil guiding angle bracket

desired position.
