Typically, blades need to be replaced every 

500-1000 acres.  Ground conditions will also 

affect the life of the blades.  New blades are 

shown in the photo. 

 

Generally, replace blades when: 

 

•

  the cutting edge is paper thin  

and/or 

•

  the cutting edge begins to curl or bend.
