Specifications
The following interface functions are available with the marker. Note that the connectors vary by model.
External Input and Output (EXT. I/O)
Connector for I/O signals to control the unit from an external device.
Insert the supplied connector if you do not intend to control the unit from
an external device.
D-Sub 25-pin
Connector for Unit:Male
Connector for User Device:Female
(Lock M2.6)
Extended External Input and Output (EEXT. I/O)
Extended connector for I/O signals for unit control from an external
device.
Used, for example, to select a Start No. from the external device.

Remote Interlock (REM. I/L)
If the Remote Interlock is to be used, make sure it is wired in accordance
with 11.3 "Emergency Stop/ Remote Interlock (REM. I/L)" (p. 98). If you
will not be connecting the Remote Interlock function, connect Pin 23 to
Pin 24, and Pin 25 to Pin 26.

Emergency Stop (REM. I/L)
If an external Emergency Stop is to be used, make sure that it is wired in
accordance with 11.3 "Emergency Stop/ Remote Interlock (REM. I/L)" (p.
98). If you will not be connecting the external Emergency Stop function,
connect Pin 1 to Pin 2, Pin 3 to Pin 4, Pin 6 to Pin 7, and Pin 8 to Pin 9.

Use a connecting cable with a shield line and terminate the shield line appropriately.
