Part Names and Functions
a
Head Unit Fixing Base
For securing the Head Unit. Attach with the specified screws at four positions.

Electronic Unit
Electrical circuit for oscillator control.

LD-ON Alarm Lamp
Green when the LD is on.

SHUTTER-ON Alarm Lamp
Yellow when the Safety Shutter is open.

SCANNER IN Connector
Connects the scanner control connecting cable from the SCANNER connector of the control unit.

FIBER IN Connector
Insert the optical fiber to input the LD light.
Do not dismount or remove it from the Head Unit. (Never remove fixing screws.)

RF IN Connector
Connects the RF connecting cable from the RF. OUT connector of the control unit.

I/F IN Connector
Connects the head control connecting cable from the I/F. OUT connector of the control unit.

Air Filter
Installed by the air intake vent on the back. Keeps dust and dirt from entering the unit.
A clogged air filter may result in abnormally high internal temperatures and malfunction.
Every 1 to 6 months, remove the air filter and clean with a neutral detergent. (The appropriate
cleaning interval will depend on the characteristics of the operating environment.)

PERTIER IN Connector
Connects the peltier control connecting cable from the PERTIER. OUT connector of the control unit.

FG Terminal
Connects the grounding wire of the peltier control connecting cable.

Outlet for CCD Camera Cable
Used when arranging the CCD camera cable.
