12.8 Memory Card Management

Memory Card Backup

Connect the memory card reader or adapter to a computer. Ensure that the computer recognizes
the memory card.
For details, refer to the documentation of the memory card device.

Double-click the [My Computer] icon to confirm the memory card is correctly recognized.
If the memory card drive is displayed under My Computer, you are ready to start backing up the
card. If not, refer to the documentation of the memory card device for details.

The memory card structure is as follows:

SYSTEM folder
•
AUTORUN file
•
Stsfile file
•
feel file

Select all content on the memory card (all folders and files) and copy it to the computer's hard disk
drive.
Store the backup files you copied in a safe location in case data on the card is accidentally lost or
corrupted.

Restoring Backup Data
Return backed-up data to the memory card as follows:

Delete all content on the memory card (all folders and files).

Copy all content you backed up (all folders and files) to the memory card.
The backed-up data has now been returned to the memory card.
