Chapter 6 Installation

ML-73 □ 3EL, Head Unit
Refer to the following figure when installing the Head Unit.
Install the Head Unit in a well-ventilated location. Because marking may produce dust and particulates,
we recommend installing a dust collector.
Required Clearance and Mass Support:
A. Clearance on top At least 120 mm
B. Clearance on left and right At least 200 mm
C. Clearance in front At least 100 mm
D. Clearance in back At least 250 mm
E. Withstand mass 14 kg
• Ensure the bending radius of the optical fiber at the back of Head Unit and Control Unit is at
least 150 mm.
• When moving the Head Unit, hold the unit by the handles on top or the bottom surface to
avoid touching the protective glass. Do not hold it by the optical fiber, other cables or the
laser output part.
• Do not disassemble or remove the Never disassemble the optical fiber and the laser output
part.
