(2) Turn the outer-side cap nut of the plug in the direction of the arrow to fix the opti -
cal fiber.

Strongly tighten the cap nut by hand without using a tool.
⇒
The connector section cannot be bent. Take care not to give excessive force to
this section.
(3) Mount the cylinder and tighten the set screw. Finally, tighten the cable gland.

Precautions during Operation

During operation, wear fingerstalls or gloves (power free).
⇒ During operation, take care not to give shocks to the optical fiber or bend it below
the minimum bending radius (in the following table).

Do not tighten the connector section of output unit too firmly; otherwise the inci -
dent laser beam may be dislocated. Turn the connector section by hand without
using a tool.
