Checking the Filter Separator
Check the filter separator every month. Replace consumables accordingly.
Operating Procedure
(1) Make sure that drain is normally discharged from the filter separator on the pri
-
mary side of this product.
(2) Check whether there is any crack, flaw, or deterioration in the resin case.
(3) Perform cleaning for the resin case periodically with a neutral cleaner to remove
dirt. If it is very dirty, replace the resin case.
(4) In two years after the start of use or when the pressure drop of each filter reach
-
es 0.1 MPa, replace the filter element.
Checking the Membrane Air Dryer
Operating Procedure
(1) Check the dehumidifying function with a dew point checker.
Make sure by the color of the dew point checker that this product functions nor-
mally.
Performance status
Color of the dew point checker
Initial status
White or pink
Normal operation
Blue
Performance drop
White, pink, brown or black
The dew point checker is changed to pink by wet air, it becomes blue later if the
dry air comes in. It takes about one hour to change the color of the dew point
checker after air is caused to flow.
(2) Replace the membrane module (element).
Regarding the membrane module, replace it when the color of the dew point
checker becomes white or pink. In the case of periodic replacement, replace it
in ten years after the start of use, depending on the operating conditions (opera-
tion for ten hours a day). If the color of the dew point checker is changed to the
above color even within this period, replace it.
(3) Replace the dew point checker.
An absorbent is used for the dew point checker. This absorbent picks up the
evaporated oil or the like included in compressed air and gas other than air, and
then may change into brown or black. When the color is changed to brown or
black, replace the dew point checker. For periodic replacement, replace it in two
years after the start of use as standard.
