Pole-Mounting Bracket Attachment Points
The Wi² Extender includes a bracket kit that can be used to mount the unit to a pole, radio mast, or
part of a tower structure.

LED Indicators
The Wi² Extender includes status LED indicators located on the base of the unit, as indicated in the
following figure.

The following table describes the system status LEDs:.
The three pairs of the 11a LEDs display the received signal strength and can be used for aligning
antennas in the wireless link.
CAUTION
Do no remove or loosen this screw. Doing so could lead to damage of the unit.

Indicates that the system is working normally.
On Amber
Indicates a system reset.

Indicates a valid 10/100 Mbps Ethernet cable link.
Flashing Green
Indicates that the
Wi² Extender
is transmitting or receiving
data on a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN. Flashing rate is
proportional to network activity.
