Passpoint Parameters
The Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0) feature can be enabled only if the selected Encryption mode is
IEEE802.1X/WPA2-EAP.
Passpoint Enable
: Check to enable Passpoint (the default is unchecked - Passpoint disabled).
Passpoint Profile
: Available only if Passpoint is enabled. The drop-down list includes profile ID and
name of all configured Passpoint profiles (see
3.5.2.2.2.3
MAC-Filter
MAC-Address Filter
: The options are Disable (the default), Allow listed only and Deny all except
listed.
A MAC access list is a group of client MAC addresses that can be either permitted or denied access to
the network.
If the selected option is
Allow listed only
, only devices with a MAC address included in the MAC-List
are allowed to associate to the wireless network, and an association attempt by any device whose MAC
address is not included will be rejected.
