External Authentication Servers
Adding an External Authentication Server
In order to use a third party external authentication server, you must first add it
to the Authentication Server list. To do so:
1. Select
Authentication Services
from the User Management menu bar to
bring up the Authentication Server list:
2. Click
Add
at the top-right of the main panel. In the
Add Authentication
Service
page that appears, drop down the Server type list to select the
service you want to add; give it a name and description, then click
Next
at
the top-right of the panel.
3. The page that comes up next depends on the service you have chosen.
Follow along with the Wizard’s pages, keying in the information required
for the external authentication server you selected. When you have
finished, click
Save
.
Note:
1. The Server name can be the equivalent of from 2–32 English
alphanumeric characters, but cannot contain the following:
" '
2. The Description can be up to 256 bytes.
