The
Register
button at the top-right of the panel, is used to integrate a
CC2000 server as a slave into a larger CC2000 network. When you click
this button, the following screen appears:
To integrate the server into the larger network, enter the required
information in the appropriate fields, then click
Register
.
After the registration completes, you are automatically logged out. When
you log back in, your server now appears as a slave on the master’s
installation.
Note:
1. For the
Administrator username
and
Administrator password
fields, you must use a valid Super Administrator’s or System
Administrator’s username and password.
2. After registration, most of the original data on the formerly
independent CC2000 (master or slave) is lost. As a slave server,
it will now get almost all of its data from the master server it is
registered with. Any devices that are connected to the newly
registered slave have to be added again. See
page 81, for details regarding adding devices.
3. Users logged into other CC2000 servers on the installation may
not see your CC2000 right away. If they are on the System
Management tab, they won’t see your CC2000 until they leave
the System Management tab and come back to it again.
4. In some cases, you may have to clear your browser cache in order
to see the change.
