To avoid accidental operation of the trip and close functionality, the hotkey CB control
commands are disabled for 10 seconds after exiting the hotkey menu.
CB control using hotkeys
The hotkeys allow direct access to the manual trip and close commands, bypassing the
SYSTEM DATA menu. Select TRIP or CLOSE, then confirm. If a trip is executed a screen
with the CB status appears once the command has been completed. If a close is executed a
timing bar appears while the command is being executed, with the option
the close procedure. The timer used is taken from the manual close delay timer setting in

2.8 Control inputs
The control inputs function as software switches that can be set or reset either locally or
remotely. These inputs can be used to trigger any function that they are connected to as
part of the PSL. There are three setting columns associated with the control inputs that are:
“CONTROL INPUTS”, “CTRL. I/P CONFIG.” and “CTRL. I/P LABELS”. The function of these
columns is described below:
