Cause and Solution
•
Protective circuit is activated due to high
temperature.
– The indicator will disappear when the
temperature returns to within operation
range.
•
No disc is loaded.
– Select a disc.
•
Although a disc is inserted into the unit, “NO
DISC” is displayed and the disc cannot be
played back or ejected.
– Remove the disc using the following
method.
(1) Press the CD
h
button. The movable
display will open.
(2) Press and hold the CD
h
button for at
least 2 seconds with the movable
display opened.
•
Mechanism error.
1. Press the CD
h
button and eject the CD.
If not ejecting, consult your Alpine dealer.
2. When the error indication remains after
ejecting, press the CD
h
button again.
If the error indication still does not turn off
after pressing the CD
h
button for a few
times, consult your Alpine dealer.
Note: When the "ERROR" is displayed:
In case that the disc cannot be ejected by
pressing the CD
h
button, press the
Reset button (refer to page 16) and press
the CD
h
button again.
If not ejecting, consult your Alpine dealer.
