Alpine Map Update Manual

Updating the Map database for these models involves four main steps with each step including detailed
instructions. You

’ll need a PC running Windows XP, 7 or 8 with an internet connection and an SD card

reader.

Step 1. Download and install “

NaviExtras Toolbox

” onto your PC.

by selecting “Register” from the drop down menu

located on the upper-right.

“Alpine of America” then select “INE-W957HD/X008U/X009”. This will allow your device to

be recognized automatically by the tool for updates.
