Description
The operations performed with the remote control unit in
step 1 can also be performed by pressing and holding
MENU (SETUP)
for at least 3 seconds, moving the joystick
up or down to select “AP SETUP”, then pressing the joystick.
Some of the speaker settings are related to the settings of
the other speakers in the system. Therefore, changing the
settings for one speaker may produce a change in the
output of the other speakers.
If the center speaker is turned “OFF”, the center channel’s
audio signals are added to the audio signals output from the
front speakers. However, for discs that DVD-Audio Down
MIX is not permitted, the center audio signal cannot be
added to.
Set the speaker selector to OFF for channels set to OFF in
the Dolby speaker setup. (See page 7.)
When using the PRO LOGIC
II
, Neo:6, if the front speaker
is set to “LARGE”, then there will be no output from the
subwoofer.
Perform the setup for all speakers (“Front”, “Rear”, “Center”,
“Rear C” and “Sub. WF”). If not, the sound may not be
balanced.
Once the settings are made, we recommend storing them in
the memory. See page 93 for instructions.

Adjust based on the front speakers.
If a speaker is set to the off mode, that speaker’s level
cannot be adjusted.
Refer to “Speaker setup” (page 53).
Once the settings are made, we recommend storing them in
the memory. See page 93 for instructions.
