RECORDING SPEECH TEXTS FOR THE
DLM-600
For ‘Input 1 to 4’ and the ‘dialer name’ it is possible to record custom speech messages. In the tab
'Voice' you first must select a ‘speech text alarm' and a ‘speech text restoral’ from the pull-down menu.
For custom speech messages it is advised to select the option 'Free text 1 to 4' for speech text alarm
and 'Free text 5 to 8' for speech text restoral.
Then click on the RECORD button to open the recording menu:

Select drive
With the select drive option you can select where to find the Micro SD card. The Micro SD card is
connected to the computer via a USB to SD adaptor and is seen as a removable disk. Select the
appropriate drive.
Play
With the Play button you can play the recorded speech message.
Record
With the Record button you can record the custom speech message.
Use an existing audio file
If you have an existing .wav file, the file can be selected using the Browse button. Once the desired .wav
file is selected you can use the
Copy
button to copy it to the Micro SD card.
