Possible status information displayed for the GPRS-connection:
Disabled:
The GPRS transceiver is not configured.
Not in use:
The GPRS transceiver is assumed to be programmed as a GPRS backup transceiver and is
not operational yet..
Busy:
The GPRS connection is being established or tested
Name Provider The GPRS connection is active once the name of the provider is displayed, for example NL
KPN. When roaming is used, for example with the Telfort provider then this will be
displayed as NL KPN (roaming). This means the Telfort GPRS connection uses the NL
KPN network.
No SIM card: There is no sim card in the GSM module or it is not recognized.
Invalid PIN:
The programmed pin-code is not correct.
Sim locked:
The PUK code is needed. Remove the sim-card and place it in a mobile telephone. Power up
the mobile telephone, the telephone will now request that you enter the PUK-code. Enter
the PUK code and program a new PIN-code. Place the sim card back in the GSM module.
Unknown error: The gsm module has reported an onknown fault message.
Ethernet configuration
When pressing the button „General settings‟ in the status menu, the following page will appear. The settings
for the top button (Ethernet configuration) will be displayed on your screen. The other buttons that appear on
the screen are:
GPRS configuration
and the
webserver configuration
. By pressing the
back to main menu
button you will return to the status menu (this is the first page displayed after logging in).
