Be careful. Changing the gateway and netmask settings could prevent communications with the RBMS
Plus, requiring a site visit.
4.8.8.
Exit Without Resetting (8)
Type “8” followed by an “Enter”, to exit the setup program and close the Telnet window without saving the changes to
nonvolatile memory and without resetting the RBMS Plus. Some changes will take effect (SNMP) others will not (e-
mail).
4.8.9.
Save Changes and Reset (9)
Type “9” followed by an “Enter”, to save all changes to nonvolatile memory, close the Telnet window, exit the setup
program and reset the RBMS Plus so all changes take effect.
4.8.10.
Erase String and Battery Database (13)
Typing “13” followed by “Enter” will erase all of the string and jar data from the RBMS Plus’ nonvolatile memory and
then reset the RBMS Plus. All user-entered data for the strings and jars, including names and alarm setups, will be lost.
The other settings will not be changed.
4.8.11.
Reset All Sensors (14)
Typing “14” followed by “Enter” will reset all the Sensors. The Telnet session will remain open and no settings will be
changed. The reset will force all of the sensors to be rediscovered.
4.8.12.
Erase String (15)
Typing “15” followed by “Enter” will erase a specified string. You will be prompted for the string number. The Telnet
session will remain open and no settings will be changed.
