Operating conditions
The FALCON

SPER

mini DMX 2000W is a xenon searchlight which can
be used only as a permanent installation. The searchlight may be operated only in
a standing installation position.
Its IP-54 classification allows the searchlight to be installed in a permanent
outdoor position.
The working temperature range is from –17°C to +52°C, free of condensation.
To avoid endangering the functioning of the equipment, it must be ensured that a
sufficient and uninterrupted supply of air is guaranteed.
It should be avoided that water or other liquids, dust, sand, earth, sawdust or leaves
are sucked in, and that they thereby enter into the searchlight.
Blocking or covering the ventilation slits is not permitted, and would inevitably
result in the destruction of the illuminant and damage to the equipment.
Installation
For the correct use in a permanent installation, it should be ensured that a solid
sub-construction is available at the point of use; this should correspond to the
requirements in the specification for the searchlight in terms of size, weight and
safety clearances to be maintained.
The support is to be fixed to this sub-construction with four suitable fastenings.
Throughout the installation, the working area is to be closed off and it should be
ensured that nobody is present in the danger area.
Change of position
If the searchlight is subject to an abrupt change in temperature (cold/warm), a
waiting period of at least 30 minutes must be maintained to allow the escape of
any condensation which may build up inside the searchlight.
