NOTE:
In order to insert the filter into the HRU correctly, please take a notice that the filter has an arrow
on it showing the direction of the airflow.
Reset filter counter:
• HRQ-BUT-LM04: To reset the dirty filter alert, press and hold both AWAY and AUTO buttons for at least
4 seconds.
• HRQ-BUT-LM11: To reset the dirty filter alert, press and hold both AWAY and PARTY buttons for at least
4 seconds.
• HRQ-BUT-LCD: Reset the clogged filter message by entering the MENU and confirming with OK.
• Application (optional equipment): by pressing button „dirty filter reset”.
6.10 Heat exchanger cleaning
Heat exchanger ought to be cleansed minimum once a year. The amount of dust layered on the heat exchanger
depends on: frequency of filters change and indoor and outdoor air quality. Heat exchanger can be washed
with warm water with mild detergent (pH from 6 to 8).
To clean heat exchanger:
• Switch power off
• Open four clamps placed on side walls
• Take front cover off
• Take heat exchanger off carefully using strip mounted on the front of heat exchanger
• Wash heat exchanger with mild detergent and warm water
• Wait until heat exchanger is completely dry (dry heat exchanger in indoor temperature)
• Place heat exchanger carefully inside the unit
• Close front cover (check if cover is evenly touching the rest of housing)
• Close four clamps placed on side walls
• Switch power on
6.11 Additional cables
Ducts are provided on the back of the heat recovery unit for cable routing. The power cable and USB cable are
already extended from the PCB board compartment. However, the other four openings (marked in red in Fig.
21) are blanked off and are used for routing additional cables, e.g. from a ground-air heat exchanger or hood.
