6.1 Power on
After power is on, the testing lamp, the failed lamp and 500V,1000V indicators and the
digital tube will be all light. Users can judge the quality of the display part.
After a few seconds, the screen displays the software version of the tester.
Users must select the test range before start to test, if not, the start key will be invalid
and the screen display
“
EEEE”. Press the range keys, for example,
2M Ω button is pressed, the screen will display " 0.200 ", the measurement range from
200K Ω~2M Ω;
20M Ω button is pressed, the screen will display " 2.00 ", the measurement range from
2M Ω~20M Ω;
200MΩ button is pressed, the screen will display " 20.0 ", the measurement range from
20
M Ω~200M Ω;
2000MΩ button is pressed, the screen will display " 200 ", the measurement range from
200
M Ω~2000M Ω;
Press the range key, the screen displays the lower limit of the range; Users can press
or long time press the
“up” and
“
down
”
keys to set the desired lower limit. Wherein the
lower limit value should not be equal to the upper limit of the range, otherwise it would
be alarmed when the tester start to test.
6.2 Parameters setting
6.2.1 Set the output voltage
Select the desired voltage 500V or 1000V
6.2.2 Select the range
Press the start button to start, select the maximum range of 2000M range firstly,
measure the resistance value roughly and then select the accurate range to measure.
If the measured resistance is more than the selected range, the screen displays " ---- ",
please select a relatively large range; If the measured resistance is less than the selected
range, the tester will be failed alarm, please select a relatively small range.
During the test, if the buttons are all pop-up, the tester will exit the test. The test lamp
will be off and the screen displays

”
6.2.3 Set the lower limit of the range
Users may need to set the desired lower limit value of the measurement.
