WEB METHOD
auth-web method
Overview This command sets the Web-authentication access method that is used with
RADIUS on the interface specified.
The no variant of this command sets the authentication method to PAP for the
interface specified when Web-Authentication is also used with the RADIUS
authentication method.
Syntax auth-web method {eap-md5|pap}
no auth-web method
Default The Web-Authentication method is set to PAP by default.
Mode Interface Configuration for a static channel, a dynamic (LACP) channel group, or a
switch port; or Authentication Profile mode.
Example To set the Web-Authentication method to eap-md5 on interface
port1.0.2
, use
the following commands:
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# interface port1.0.2
awplus(config-if)# auth-web method eap-md5
To set the web authentication method to eap-md5 for authentication profile
‘student’, use the commands:
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# auth profile student
awplus(config-auth-profile)# auth-web method eap-md5
To reset the web authentication method to the default (PAP) for authentication
profile ‘student’, use the commands:
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# auth profile student
awplus(config-auth-profile)# no auth-web method
