NOTE: Wire sizing listed in this table is based on Arti-
cle 310, Table 310.16 of the NEC; at 104°F [40°C] ambi-
ent temperature. Follow your local electrical codes.
Use only copper conductors, rated for 194ºF [90°C] or
higher, type THHN or better. No more than three current
carrying conductors per raceway. Contact your local
Authority having jurisdiction if you have questions. Cir-
cuit breakers should be UL 489 listed or better. Single
phase circuit breakers for single phase machines only;
three phase circuit breakers for all others.
NOTE: N and P Voltage - Where the protective conduc-
tor has a cross-sectional area of less than 10 mm2 Cu,
a second protective conductor of at least the same
cross-sectional area shall be provided up to a point
where the protective conductor has a cross-sectional
area not less than 10 mm2 Cu.
