Principle
The automated preparator enables a "preparation cycle" to be automatically performed for a volume of culture
medium.A preparation cycle comprises
n
"steps";
n
= 2, 3 or 4
Each step is defined by a temperature setpoint (in °C) and a duration (in minutes)
The temperature setpoint for a step is equal to or greater than 25.0°C and equal to or lower than 123.0°C. It
is defined to the nearest 0.1°C
The duration of a step is equal to or greater than 1 minute and equal to or less than 999 minutes. It is defined
to the nearest 1 minute.
The duration of the last step is always infinite (the cycle is stopped by the user).
The start of the cycle is triggered either by the user (manual start), or by means of a timer (scheduled start).
The phases between the steps are transition phases, which may be "heating" or "cooling"
