What is the SoftLogix System?

Step 2: Create the New Controller Project in the Logix Designer
Application
1.
In the Logix Designer application, from the File menu, choose New.
The New Controller dialog box appears.
2.
In the New Controller dialog box, from the Type pull-down menu, choose
your SoftLogix controller.
3.
Enter the controller Name, Chassis Type, and Slot Number to create the
new controller project.
The example above shows the 1789-L60 controller in slot 1.
For Logix Designer application version 20.00.00 or later, slot 0 can
be selected.
4.
Click OK.
