Check Integrity of
Application Files
It is recommended that you periodically check the integrity of the FactoryTalk
View .mer application file that is currently loaded in the terminal and the runtime
files. All errors, warnings, and information messages generated by these files are
logged to a file. You can periodically view the log and clear all items from the log.
1.
Select Terminal Settings>File Integrity Check.
2.
Press either of the Enable buttons to enable or disable file integrity checks.

By default, integrity checks are automatically performed on the application
.mer file and runtime files. If you disable either of these functions, the files
will not be checked nor will the log file be updated.
