Chapter 6 Troubleshoot the System
Load the System Defaults If the computer fails after you change the set-up menus, load the system default
settings to correct the error. These default settings have been selected to
optimize computer performance.
Follow these steps to load the system defaults.
1. Restart the computer as specified in Restart the Computer on page 33 .
2. During POST, press F2 on an attached keyboard to access the UEFI set-
up utility.
3. Click Firmware Configuration on the set-up screen.
4. Click Default (A) on the Main screen.
5. Click Save (B) to save your changes.
6. Click Exit (C) to close the UEFI set-up utility.
IMPORTANT An external keyboard and mouse must be connected to the computer to
perform these steps.
