Prepare the CompactLogix 5370 L3 Controller Hardware
Chapter 1
Assemble the System
CompactLogix 5370 L3 control systems support multiple system configurations, including the
optional placement of modules between the controller and the power supply and to the right of
the power supply.
Complete the following steps to assemble the system.
1.
Make sure that line power is disconnected.
2.
Make sure that the lever of the
1769 Compact power supply is in
the unlocked position, that is,
leaning to the right.
3.
Use the upper and lower tongue-
and-groove slots to secure the
controller and power supply
together.
4.
Move the power supply back along
the tongue-and-groove slots until
the bus connectors line up with
each other.
