Calibrate the ControlLogix Analog I/O Modules
Chapter 8
Calibrate the 1756-OF8I Module for a Current Output Type
When calibrating an output channel for use with a current output type, the Logix
Designer application commands the module to output specific levels of current.
You must measure the actual level and record the results to account for any
module inaccuracies.
Follow these steps to calibrate your module.
1.
Connect your current meter to all module channels being calibrated.
2.
Go online with your project.
3.
Right-click the module you want to calibrate and choose Properties.
4.
On the Configuration tab, make sure the Output Type for each channel to
be calibrated is set to Current (mA).
5.
Make sure that the controller is in Program Mode or the Connection is
Inhibited (available via the Connection tab).
The module can only be calibrated when the Connection is Inhibited.
