What you need
To install the camera, you will need:
•
12 Vdc power source. See
Specifications
for wattage requirement.
•
Silicone sealant
•
Tools for mounting the camera
•
Different fasteners may be required for mounting the camera
•
Phillips #2 screwdriver
•
Protective covering for the drop cable connectors. These connectors are not waterproof.
•
Video and power extension cables. Video extension cable can be up to 1640 ft (500 m) long.
•
CCTV video setup monitor (optional)
Step 1. Install the camera
The camera includes hardware to install it directly to a mounting surface. Camera drop cables can be routed
through the mounting surface or through a cable channel in the base.
Before installation:
•
Make sure that the device is in good condition and all the assembly parts are included.
•
Check the specification of the products for the installation environment.
•
Make sure that the wall or the ceiling is strong enough to withstand 3 times the weight of the camera.
•
To avoid fire or shock hazard, use only UL listed power supplies. Verify that the power supply will
provide the rated voltage and wattage for the camera. See the
Specifications
section.

The ALI-CD5021VSS camera feature a 1/2.9" Sony® CMOS image sensor that delivers HD-TVI high-
definition video resolution up to 1080p over RG59 coax or any standard analog CCTV cabling. This video

temperature ranges, and where salt water mist is present.
