Image stream delay time [ms]:
If the data from the transponder system arrives at the OPTIc3 with a delay, the time must be
set, that all transponder impulses always arrives before the image of the OPTIc3 is output. Tran-
sponder data that arrive after the image output are lost in the OPTIc3 system. If there is no
transponder impulse and "no: impulse timeout" is entered in the channel list under REC, then
the image delay time is too short.
The image delay time should also not be set too long. Otherwise you have to wait for the ad-
justed “Image Stream Delay Time” time until an image is shown to the screen.
20.5 Recording Using Data from External Devices
If you use external devices with the OPTIc3.NET as described before (e.g. transponder sys-
tems), you can activate the camera recording through these devices. For each data string a
vertical dashed time line is created in the photo finish picture and the transponder time of the
associated bib is integrated in the heat list.
•
In the menu bar, click on <Show> and <Show the (Transponder Line)> to display the
transponder lines in the photo finish picture. This function is active when the icon is

sponder line.
