There are two alternative methods to calibrate the flow:

• Calibration using the vessels tank sounding systems calculating the flow.

• Calibration using an ultrasonic device.

Calibration frequency: IMO: Every second year. USCG: Every year.

Decide which tank to use for measuring.

Note the start level in tank.

Establish stable flow in the system.
