8.4 Protect the pump against soiling

 

CAUTION

Damage through impurities in the pipe system

.

• During welding work attach protective covers to the connecting flanges.

• Ensure when welding that welding beads and abrasive dust cannot get into

the pipe system and the pump.

• After the connecting work carefully clean the pipe system; refer to

8.4.1 Connecting the pump to the pipe system
