3  Dismantling/Assembly

3.8  Operating water module compact (OWMC)

Pull off the cylinder (2)

5.

Carefully press the piston (13) out of the 
cylinder using a soft rod or similar.

3.8.3

Check points

Clean and check the condition of the 
dismantled parts.

−

Check the cylinder (2), piston (13) and 
two-pulse adapter (11) for scratches and 
scuffing marks.

−

Renew the garter strap (4) fitted inside 
the cylinder.

−

Renew the piston seal rings (12 & 14) 
and the seal (8) which are included in the 
service kit for the module.

−

Renew all other parts included in the 
service kit.
