These chemicals will harm the unit and will damage the surface
being cleaned. Use of these items will void the warranty.
Stopping / Turning OFF the pressure washer
If detergents have been used, insert approx 3.5 litres of fresh water
into detergent bottle. Siphon water at low pressure for one minute to
clear the line of residual detergent.
1) Turn the electric start key (32) left to the “OFF” position.
2) Turn the choke lever (28), fuel valve (29) and the throttle lever (30)
to original position.
3) Turn off the water source. Ensure the fuel valve is in the off position.
4) ALWAYS point the spray gun (19) in a safe direction, squeeze trigger
switch (41) to release retained high water pressure and lock the gun
(19). Store the spray gun (19) on the gun storing rest (20).
5) Disconnect the garden hose from the water inlet of pump (24) on
machine.
6) Disconnect the high pressure hose from the water outlet of pump
(23).
Emergency Stopping
In the event that the pressure washer will not turn off, follow these
instructions:
Firstly, do not panic and remain calm.
There are 2 options to stop the pressure washer:
1) Turn off the fuel filter / valve (29) and wait for the engine to stop.
The engine should stop within approx 1-2 minutes.
2) Remove the spark plug connector / cover. Only attempt this if the
user is confident. It is recommended to wear a rubber glove when
grasping the spark plug cap as a small electric shock is possible when
pulling the cap off.
Ensure you feel confident to do this .
CAUTION:
The spark plug may be hot. Persons with heart conditions
or any medical condition which can be affected by electric shock should
not attempt this method.
