Cleaning and maintenance

maintenance”.

Cleaning and maintenance

Risk of injury!

Accidental starting of the grass trimmer can result in serious injuries 
by the cutting unit.

 

− Pull out the power plug before doing any cleaning and mainte-

nance work.

 

− Make sure that the grass trimmer has been switched off and that 

the cutting unit is no longer running.

Risk of injury!

The grass trimmer is equipped with a blade for cutting the nylon line. 
Incorrect handling can result in serious injuries.

 

− Wear suitable protective gloves when you clean the grass trimmer 

or carry out maintenance on it.

 

− Never replace non-metallic cutting tools with metallic cutting 

tools.

Risk of damage!

Incorrect cleaning can result in damage.

 

− Do not use any of the following items: aggressive cleaning prod-

ucts; brushes with metal or nylon bristles; sharp or metallic clean-
ing implements such as knives, hard spatulas or similar. These 
items could damage the surfaces.
