Route the cables along the backplane and out of the bay to the 110/RJ45 punch down
block. Route the cables in the same manner as DS3/EC1 cables. Refer to
Figure 1-15,
“DS3/EC1 and 48TMUX cable routing” (p. 1-43) .

CAUTION
The LNW66, LNW71 and LNW74 10/100BaseT-Ethernet packs do not have
lightning protection for the metallic connections. Therefore it is necessary to
use a lightning-protected patch panel, such as the Black Box CAT5 protected
patch panel JSM110A, for intra-office applications only.
