Chapter 2 AIC ADSL2+ Expansion Card
The AIC ADSL2+ expansion card allows you to connect to an ADSL2+ network.
ADSL2+ is a technology that offers transfer rates that are noticeably faster than those provided by conventional AD-
SL. So, if through ADSL we have maximum downstream rates of 8/1 Mbps, with ADSL2+ we achieve 24/2 Mbps. In
addition to an improved bandwidth, this standard contemplates a series of implementations that improve the supervi-
sion of the connection and the quality of services demanded through the line.
