OPERATION
1. Check if the lock nut is
loose when you turn it in a
counterclockwise direction.
Turn the handle until the
zero mark sits at the slan-
ted scale in line with the
lowest mark on the linear
scale.
2. 1graduation corresponds
to 1 Nm.
Setting of the torque:
Hold the torque wrench in
such a way in your hand
that the markings are visible.
Set the handle. (Setting
torque function is available
only in clockwise direction)
Example:
For a torque of 90 Nm
(1) Turn the handle to the
marking 84. The zero on
the side of the handle
must be in line with the
vertical line of the lever.
(See
fi
gure 1)
(2) Turn the handle clockwise
until marking 6 in line is
with the vertical line of
the lever. (See
fi
gure 2)
(3) Tighten the lock nut to
secure the setting.
(Release the lock nut
after using the torque
wrench.)
(4) Check the switch (See
fi
gure 3) at right position
(in clockwise direction).
(5) Put the square drive
perpendicular to the nut
or screw to be tightened
in the socket or in the
extension.
(6) Take the handle in your
right hand and tighten
the handle carefully
(clockwise), until you
hear a click and you feel
a slight suspension.
DO NOT CONTINUE TO
TURN.
IMPORTANT:
1. Don‘t tug in any kind of
way at the torque wrench
when fastening a nut.
Use even pressure during
fastening.
2. Release the torque wrench
immediately when you
hear or especially when
you feel a click.
3. Pay attention to ensure
that the sound of the click
weakens with lower
torque settings.
4. The calibration interval is
generally 12 months or
after 5000 times of use.
The torque wrench must
be recalibrated if there
has been an overload or
inappropriate handling.
5. Please don‘t use any
hinges or ball joints, as
these can lead to incorrect
settings of the turning
moment.
WARNING:
1. Don‘t continue pulling at
the torque wrench after
the set torque has been
reached, because this
can lead to an incorrect
torque and parts can be
damaged.
