DANGER!
Do not operate this Equipment with hydraulic oil leaking. Oil is
expensive and its presence could present a hazard. Do not check for
leaks with your hand! Use a piece of heavy paper or cardboard. High-
pressure oil streams from breaks in the line could penetrate the skin
and cause tissue damage including gangrene. If oil does penetrate the
skin, have the injury treated immediately by a physician knowledgeable
and skilled in this procedure.
(SG-15)
DANGER!
Never work under the Implement, the framework, or any lifted component
unless the Implement is securely supported or blocked up to prevent
sudden or inadvertent falling which could cause serious injury or even
death.
(SG-14)
Check Chain Case Oil on RH side of machine.
Remove plug shown in Figure. Oil level should be
at level of grove on Dip Stick. Add oil if required.
Use Chevron Vistec ISO68 or Mobil Vactra #2.
There are three separate oil systems on the
M8000MD, Excluding the engine.
1. Hydraulic Oil Level - Use ISO32 Hydraulic Oil
2. Drive Chain Case - Recommended: Mobil Vactra
No. 2 or Chevon Wayoil Vistac ISO68 - both of
these recommended lubricants contain a tacking
agent which improves the lubricants ability to adhere
to components, preventing corrosion. FIGURE 8
Gearbox Lubricant - Recommended Lubricant
