Maintenance and care

Avoid blockages by observing the direction in
which the undergrowth inclines and cut from
the opposite side.
■
If the blade jams while cutting:
■
switch off the motor immediately.
■
Lift the appliance so that the blade does
not jump or break.

WARNING! Danger of cuts and lacera-
tions. Danger of cuts and lacerations when
reaching into sharp-edged, moving appliance
parts and into cutting tools.

Before maintenance, care and cleaning work,
always switch off the appliance. Remove the
rechargeable battery.
■
Always wear protective gloves during mainte-
nance, care and cleaning work.

Malfunction Cause Remedy
Motor does not start. Battery is flat. Charge the battery.
Battery missing or not insert-
ed correctly. Install the battery correctly.
Motor keeps cutting out. The ON/OFF switch is defec-
tive. Contact one of the manufacturer's ser-
vice centres.
Battery cannot be
charged. Battery contacts are soiled. Contact one of the manufacturer's ser-
vice centres.
Battery or charger is defec-
tive. Contact one of the manufacturer's ser-
vice centres.
Battery is too hot. Allow the battery to cool down.
Grass is no longer cut
cleanly. Blade is blunt.

Have the blade sharpened. Contact
one of the manufacturer's service
centres.

Replace the blade.
Battery operating time
drops significantly. Grass is too long or too wet.
■
Start cutting grass higher.
■
Allow the grass to dry.
Cutting height is too low. Start cutting grass higher.
The service life of the battery
has expired. Replace the battery. Use only OEM ac-
cessories.
Appliance vibrates un-
usually. Appliance fault Contact one of the manufacturer's ser-
vice centres.
