Press “NEW.”
The Create New Program window appears, as shown below.

Select the “Type” parameter, then use the JOG dial to select “KEYGROUP.”

Select the “New name” parameter, then rotate the JOG dial.
The Name window appears. See “Entering Names” on page 17 for more information.

Press “DO IT.”
A new Keygroup Program is created.
Configuring Keygroup Programs
Keygroup Programs are configured as follows.

Select a Keygroup Program as explained on page 48.

Press “KGRP.”
The KGRP page appears, as shown below.
KGRP parameters are spread over two pages, which you can toggle between by pressing
“KGRP,” or select by using the Right and Left CURSOR buttons.
New Programs contain one blank Keygroup (i.e., no Samples assigned), as shown in the
example above. New Keygroups can be created as follows. If you do not need to create
any more new Keygroups, go to step 7.

Select either a Keygroup number in the “Kg” column or the “Kg edit”
parameter, and then press the WINDOW button.
The Key Group window appears, as shown below.
The Key Group window also contains the Keygroup Delete and Arrange functions. When
you press “DELETE,” the Delete Keygroup window appears, from which you can delete
the current Keygroup, or delete all blank Keygroups (i.e., those without a Sample
assigned). When you press “ARRANG,” the Arrange Keygroup window appears, and you
can sort Keygroups by selecting “ORIGINAL KEY” (i.e., Original Note), “KEYRANGE
LOW,” or “KEYRANGE HIGH” in the “In order of” parameter.
