Updating KONA LHe Plus Firmware
When you update your KONA LHe Plus software by downloading new versions fro
m
the
aja.co
m
website, it is possible that so
m
e versions
m
ay also require a fir
m
ware update to
update the software stored in non-volatile
m
e
m
ory on the board. Always carefully read the
release notes that acco
m
pany each version to be installed. The release notes will spell out all
required software and hardware necessary to ensure a successful update of your KONA LHe
Plus.
Follow these instructions when a fir
m
ware update is required:
1.
First install the new version of KONA LHe Plus software.
2.
After successfully installing the new KONA software, the AJA KONA Updater will
auto
m
atically launch. (The updater application is located in the
AJA Utilities folder
.)
3.
When the updater starts, the following screen will display indicating the current
fir
m
ware and update fir
m
ware creation date.

Click
Update Firmware
to begin the update process. Do not interrupt the update
process
