ALTUS MESO INSTALLATION MANUAL
Thank you for purchasing the Aithre Altus Meso, wireless portable oxygen tank pressure monitor. Please
follow the following instructions to safely install your Altus Meso and begin monitoring tank pressure on
your iOS device.
WARNINGS
1.
DO NOT USE ANY FITTINGS FROM THE LOCAL HARDWARE STORE OR THAT ARE NOT RATED FOR
LESS THAN 5000 PSI AS THEY COULD FRACTURE OR EXPLODE UNDER THE HIGH PRESSURE OF
YOUR OXYGEN TANK. BRASS RETAIL FITTINGS ARE TYPICALLY ONLY ABLE TO WITHSTAND 100-
300 PSI.

REMOVAL OF YOUR PRESSURE GAUGE DURING INSTALLATION REQUIRES YOUR TANK TO BE
EMPTY AND UNDER NO PRESSURE PER THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Some tanks may require an extension M-F 1/8 NPT fitting in order for the Aithre tee fitting to clear
the tank during installation. Contact Aithre to purchase a high pressure extension.
4.
Pressure rating of the Aithre Altus is 0-2500 PSI with a transient rating of up to 5000 PSI.
5.
Use oxygen grade thread tape during installation as instructed.
INSTALLATION
6.
EMPTY YOUR OXYGEN TANK OR YOUR GAUGE WILL BE A PROJECTILE THAT COULD CAUSE SEVERE
INJURY OR DEATH.
7.
Unscrew your existing pressure gauge to expose a hole.
