Softening system
Take a water sample and check dH⁰.
•
Take water sample from the water test outlet on the softening system.
•
Sample is taken out at the designated test tab on the water outlet.
•
Let the water run for 1 min.
•
Flush the test tube.
•
Follow the instructions on the supplied hardness testing kit.
Check salt container, salt valve clean
•
Close of water.
•
Take the lid of the salt container and empty it for salt.
•
Take out the grid in the bottom of the container.
•
Take out the salt valves - brine valve.
•
All is cleaned with warm water.
•
The salt valve is controlled and set correctly.
•
All is reassembled.
•
The salt container is refilled with salt.
•
Slowly open the water supply again – avoid pressure boost.
Check regeneration time
•
Start a manual regeneration process on all cartridges.
•
Note the time:
- Kinetico CC206 and CC208
11 min.
- Kinetico Mach 2030
40 min.
- Kinetico Mach 2060
45 min.
- Kinetico Mach 2100
90 min.
•
If cleaning the softeningsystem with chlorine, make sure to disconnect
everything after the softener, until the clorine is flushed out of the softener,
the chlorine will damage the RO membranes.
Check for leaks
•
Check all connection are tight.
•
Check that the salt valve shuts down water correctly.
•
Check that there is no water in drain during normal operation.
•
Leave it for 10 min and come back all should be dry.
Check expiration date on costumers hardness test kit.
