Filter house
Check/replace filter cartridge.
•
Close of water and separate the filter house.
•
Take out filter cartridge and check condition.
- The cartridge is replaced min. twice per year or before is has a ”pass-
through“ color in center of the filter element.
- Keep an eye out for iron and chloride
•
Iron turns the filter red
•
Chlorine you can smell
•
Check that the O-ring seal on the filter house is intact.
•
Clean the filter housing before installing a new filter.
•
When installing a new filter cartridge in the filter house, use the wrapping
of the new cartridge as protection and let the cartridge slide into place
untouched.
Cónfirm the inlet water pressure.
•
Locate the pressure gauge and make a note of the pressure reading.
•
The reading must be performed during full operation of RO, if this is
installed, or from the pump unit in full operation.
Check for leaks.
•
Check all connection are tight.
•
Leave it for 10 min and come back all should be dry.
Fill in AirtecCare checklist 2.1 - 2.3.
Take a water sample before the softening and measure dH⁰.
•
For this the Duroval dH° tester is used.
•
The water sample is taken out by a nearby water tab from the same pipeline
as the humidity system.
•
If there is no water tap nearby, take the raw water sample from first filter
house when changing filter elemens.
•
Let the water run for before taking out a sample.
•
Fill it up to the 5 ml line.
•
Add one drop of füssig.
•
Shake it.
•
Fill the syring with Duroval A up to the 0 line.
•
Slowly add Duraval A until water turns green.
•
Read dH° value on syring.
Do a conductivity reading from the same test point.
•
Let the water run for 1 min.
•
Flush the test tube/cup.
•
Follow the instructions from the supplied conductivity reader.
Do a visual check on the appearance and smell of the sample water.
