Pass the supply wires through the
hole in the mounting bracket. Secure
the mounting bracket to a ceiling joist
or other structural ceiling element with
two screws, spring washers and flat
washers. Ensure that the support for
the mounting bracket is capable of
safely holding the moving weight of
the fan.
2.
Hang the fan assembly with
the ball joint onto the mounting
bracket. Make sure the guide
pin of the bracket is fitted into
the corresponding slot of the
ball joint. You should feel the
guide pin setting into the slot
of the ball joint.
3.
Connect the internal lead
wire from the bracket to the fan
body by clipping together the
two plastic 4-way male/female
connectors. Make sure that the
connectors are firmly clicked
together.
4.
Connect wires from supply and
bracket to the wiring terminals as
follows:
Brown wire
Blue wire
Green/yellow striped wire
5.
Lift the canopy to the ceiling

until the screws drop into the
slot recesses. Insert the other
two set screws and washers.
Tighten all the screws, make
sure that the canopy is secure
and that you have not trapped
any wires.
6.
Assemble the blade holders
to each blade with three
screws, spring washers, flat
washers and nuts. Ensure all
three screws tighten each
blade.
7.
Unscrew the screws and spring
washers from the fan motor.
Install the
fan blade sets onto the motor by
tightening the screws and spring
washers evenly.
8.
Install a proper lamp to the
socket (E14, max. 60W,

9.
Attach the two pull cords;
ensure that the pull cord
retaining clips support the
cord.
10.
Install the glass shade onto the fan light housing by tightening
the three thumb screws.
CAUTION:
Do not use tools to tighten the
thumbscrews. Over-tightening of the thumb screws may crack the
glass shade and cause a safety hazard.
