If you want to send an unencrypted message when E2EE is active, select the
message type Non-encrypted text message in the input field in the
Single
conversation
view.
The maximum length of SDS and flash messages is 109 characters when
E2EE is activated.
SDS messages
You can send individually addressed SDS-, flash- and status messages to
TETRA-, PSTN-, and PABX numbers when the device is in the network mode
(TMO). In the direct mode (DMO), you can send individually addressed
messages only to TETRA numbers.
Group addressed messages are always sent directly to the groups.
The requesting of delivery reports from the recipients of text and flash
messages is defined by your organisation. If the requesting is enabled, you
can set the requesting of delivery reports on or off in the PMR settings or in
the settings available in the
My conversations
view.
