8. TETRA Individual Communication
You can make and receive individual calls both to/from the TETRA network
and the 3GPP network. However, when making a call, you need to make a
distinction between the TETRA numbers and other phone numbers (PSTN or
PABX).
Individual calls can be duplex or semi-duplex calls. Note that alerting duplex
and semi-duplex individual calls have different ringing tones.
Duplex calls are displayed in full screen call view. If you want to minimize the
view, touch the
Home
button of the device or navigate to the previous activity.
To return to the full screen call view, press the Android Status Bar or swipe
down from top to reveal the call notification and then tap it.
The phone numbers and duration of dialed, received or missed individual
calls are stored to the Call log. Missed calls are indicated in the Android
Status Bar as Missed events
.
The following icons are used in individual calls:
If you have an E2EE smart card installed in the device, but the individual call
is unencrypted, the Encryption
icon is displayed in the Android Status Bar
to inform you that the communication is not encrypted. The clear call warning
tone also informs you that the call is unencrypted.
